Kaolin

The idea

I had the mandate to create a packaging eco-friendly. I wanted to create something that would have as little impact as possible on nature. That way, Kaolin is a brand that sell products for the skin in clay jar that is only dried, not cooked. When the product is finished, the consumer can soften the jar in warm water and then use the clay for a facial mask. This way, nothing is left in the environment.

The brand logo

Kaolin is the scientific way to say "white clay". The logo is written in an incomplete typo, representing the pots that disapear after the use of the product inside. The brand is engraved in the jar so no toxic ink touches the skin when the person wants to applie the mask.

Materials

I used white clay for the pots, compostable hemp rope to sell the jars and recycled paper for the instructions.
